This extraordinary range is created by pairing natural dyes extracted from leaves, flowers, roots and tree bark found in Sri Lanka with traditional methods such as bundle-dyeing, resist dyeing and steaming over a wood-fired stove.
A quintessential example of artisan manufacturing, everything is handmade in ultra small batches at Botanic Hues design studio and workshop in the suburbs of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Variations in hues and shade between batches are common making no two prints identical and each piece a unique creation.
